With the new Triflex Cryl UniPrimer 285, the liquid plastics specialist from Minden simplifies priming and substrate pretreatment for Triflex systems based on polymethyl methacrylate.
Whether concrete, screed, wood or asphalt – thanks to its versatility, the Triflex Cryl UniPrimer 285 can be used on almost all surfaces without compromising on quality and performance. The 2-component PMMA-based primer adheres securely and thus forms the basis for long-lasting sealing solutions from Triflex.
With Triflex Cryl UniPrimer 285, processors benefit from faster and safer priming. Handling is simplified by using a single product. This reduces the risk of advice and application errors, as it is no longer necessary to differentiate between different substrates. The material and time required are also significantly reduced. For smaller repairs, for example, fewer containers have to be carried, which also makes storage easier.
Reliable processing
Triflex Cryl UniPrimer 285 is quickly reactive and solvent-free and can be processed at temperatures from 0 °C to +35 °C. Processing is as quick as usual. The surface must be prepared by milling or shot blasting so that it is stable, dry and free of loose or adhesion-reducing components. The primer is then applied either manually using a rolling method or, for larger areas, using the Triflex SAM spray application machine. The machine can be used to apply primers and sealants with 2-component PMMA products up to four times faster than conventional technologies. Using Triflex SAM saves additional time and material.
With the Triflex Cryl UniPrimer 285, processors receive the proven Triflex quality - while being easy to use and maximum efficiency on the construction site. “We tested the new Triflex Cryl UniPrimer 285 and were pleasantly surprised: It can be processed just as well as the tried and tested Triflex Cryl Primer 276 - my employees hardly noticed any differences. The consistency is slightly thicker, which ensures very good film formation, especially on rough surfaces such as screed. The usual Triflex quality, now even easier to use,” says processor Sascha Königsfeld from Wierig Liquid GmbH.
