The Mattersburg Cultural Center is an architectural landmark of Burgenland and at the same time an important example of brutalism.

The Mattersburg Cultural Center is an architectural landmark of Burgenland and at the same time an important example of brutalism. After almost four decades of use, it has been extensively modernized - with a clear commitment to preserving its identity and technical innovation.

Forster plays a central role in this: the long-lasting steel profile systems ensure maximum safety and functionality throughout the building. The fire protection portals in the forster presto system in particular ensure reliable fire and smoke protection and meet demanding architectural requirements such as flush integration and maximum transparency.
In addition, aluminum solutions from Reynaers were used, which bring light, openness and energy efficiency to the project through large facade elements and windows.
Together, Forster and Reynaers offer a harmonious overall concept for a cultural center that preserves architectural history, meets the most modern standards and is prepared for the future thanks to the interaction of profile systems made of steel and aluminum.
