Lifting technology for quick assembly
The Swabian family business RUD is showing clever lifting technology solutions for the metal and sheet metal processing industry at EMO 2025.

Lifting technology for quick assembly
A focus of the trade fair presentation is the ACP-Turnado anchor point (pictured above) for turning and turning loads. It has an intelligent spring mechanism that prevents the bracket from remaining vertical when subjected to lateral loading. Instead, the bracket automatically aligns itself in the direction of pull, so that a sudden drop in the load (shock load) is avoided. The ACP-Turnado is available in sizes M8 to M100 and covers load capacities from 0.7 to 32.5 tons.

Solutions for time-saving assembly
Another focus of the trade fair is components for quick and easy assembly: In contrast to screw-on models, the robust clickable clevis shackle CCS-Fastlox can be assembled without tools (without a nut or split pin): The bolt is pushed through the shackle bracket and locks into a laterally mounted safety mechanism. This saves up to 80 percent time during assembly and disassembly.

For mounting on through holes and holes with undercuts, RUD has the PIP-Rapido plug-in anchor point with a self-locking fastening mechanism. For fastening, a rotating ring is activated, which unlocks the support elements. The anchor point can then simply be inserted into the hole. The locking mechanism then engages automatically and securely connects the load to the anchor point. This means that the PIP-Rapido can be attached many times faster than conventional screw-on anchor points. Optionally, the PIP-Rapido can also be used together with the CCS-Fastlox clevis shackle.
RUD Digital World
In addition, RUD will also provide information at the trade fair stand about its slinging point and slinging equipment configurators, which can be used to determine suitable chain slings and slinging points online step by step. The RUD Buddytron app will also be presented, which gives users access to all relevant information within seconds and regardless of location via NFC scan of the RFID transponder integrated in almost all RUD products or by entering the article number - from technical data sheets and operating instructions to instructions for visual inspection.
