“There are two options: either the customers come to us or we come to them.” Peter Huber, Austrian Managing Director of Viessmann and his team decided on the second option. The heating manufacturer has been touring Austria since September together with its partner company Pewo. On September 30th we stopped at a very special location - the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg.

80 customers and specialist partners

Around 80 customers and specialist partners – mostly from southern Austria – accepted the invitation. Where the elite in motorsport meet on race days, they had the opportunity to learn everything about the latest electricity-based energy solutions for single- and multi-family homes as well as solutions for local and district heating in short lectures.

In addition to the test winner for air-water heat pumps, the Vitocal 250-A, other Viessmann products were presented in the roadshow truck. The Vitocal 250-A Pro and the Carrier Aquasnap 61AQ expand the Viessmann portfolio into the larger performance range when it comes to air-water heat pumps.

There was also the opportunity to get to know products in the Formula 1 pits or directly in the Viessmann show truck that was brought along. The sales consultants from both companies were on site and available to provide individual advice. Afterwards there was the opportunity to take an exclusive look behind the scenes of one of the most modern race tracks in the world on a guided Red Bull Ring tour. There were numerous opportunities to network and share experiences.

For Viessmann Austria boss Huber, it was an extremely successful event: "It's about being present with the customer when business picks up again and the decision is made to invest. We are sowing now so that we can harvest," he says. "The market is not easy at the moment. We've had more laughs before. But there are the first signs that the mood is improving. Austria is a healthy market. And we are very well positioned."
