On December 11, 2025 will take place in the Melk carpentry shop The Transformation Symposium has inventory #1 – New European Bauhaus. New building for Austria takes place. The event is dedicated to the question of how sustainability, aesthetics and inclusion can be integrated into construction and urban development processes. The occasion is Europe's first NEB district in rural areas, which is currently being built in Melk.

The symposium offers insights into the pilot project, best practice examples and discussions with experts from architecture, politics, administration and civil society. It is organized by ORTE Architekturnetzwerk Niederösterreich. Participation is free of charge, registration is required.
